During the Budget speech in Parliament by the Minister for Finance in October 2021 a number of fiscal initiatives and plans were announced. Following budget day, tax practitioners look ahead at reviewing the detailed legal amendments translating the policy changes into tax practice. Consequently, during the first weeks of the new year 2022, a number of legal amendments were introduced including the enactment of Act VII of 2022 – Budget Measures Implementation Act and a series of legal notices.

This seminar aims to provide participants with an overview of the amendments introduced and an explanation of the effects that such amendments shall have on the tax practice. A number of illustrative examples shall be presented highlighting the significance of the changes announced.
