The Malta Institute of Accountants, the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners and the Malta Institute of Taxation are holding an online webinar on Friday, 29 May 2020 between 14:00 and 15:15 on the Online Application for the Registration of a Fiscal Unit in terms of the Consolidated Group (Income Tax) Rules. This online application was made available on the Commissioner for Revenue’s internet portal on 18 May 2020, and is accompanied by guidelines, available here: Fiscal Unit Registration. The Webinar will be addressed by representatives of the Commissioner for Revenue as well as practitioners in the area. Should you have any questions about the registration of fiscal units, please send them to the MIT Office on mit@maintax.org. Your questions will be passed on to the speakers, enabling them to tackle the areas of concern during the Webinar. Please note that during the Webinar, it will be possible to submit questions via the “Chat” function; however, it may not be possible to provide an answer immediately due to time constraints and therefore we strongly suggest that such questions are sent beforehand as above.
