International Tax Conference “Taxes of Tomorrow. Directions of tax law development in European countries"

The MIT has been asked by another member organisation of CFE Tax Advisers' Europe, to inform our members of an event being organised by the Silesian Branch of the National Chamber of Tax Advisers (Poland) in collaboration with the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia. They are pleased to invite MIT Members to the Second International Tax Conference “Taxes of Tomorrow. Directions of tax law development in European countries”. The conference will be held online on Friday 20 September, 2024.

For tax advisers from CFE Member organisations, they have extended the registration deadline to August 15, 2024.

 
 

Some key Information:

  1. Active Participation (with presentation): Submit your application by August 15, 2024, using the online form. Please send abstracts and biographical notes to slaski@kidp.pl by the same date.
  2. Passive Participation (without presentation): Register by August 15, 2024.
  3. Themes include, among others:
    1. Taxation of new technologies, robotics, and artificial intelligence
    2. Green taxation
    3. Use of ICT tools in tax proceedings and the automation and computerization of tax administration tasks
    4. Implementation of BEPS initiatives and measures against aggressive tax optimization
    5. Harmonization of tax law within the European Union
 
 

Additional Details:

  1. The conference will be conducted entirely in English.
  2. Attendance is free of charge, both for participants and presenters.
  3. Links to join the conference on MS Teams will be sent two weeks before the event.
