Dear MIT Members

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the sudden and untimely passing of Luca Pace.

Luca was an active member of the Institute, involved in both its technical and educational initiatives and events. He served as a member of the Personal Tax Sub-Committee of the Direct Tax Committee since its inception, contributing extensively to discussions, submissions to the authorities and consultations on new tax measures. He also supported the Institute in the development of the MIT Course on Personal Taxation, imparting his subject-matter expertise and his practical experience toward the design and ongoing improvement of the curriculum. 

Luca was not only a peer or colleague, but a friend to many members of the Institute, and he will be sorely missed. We honour his life and the impact that he had on all those who knew him, personally or professionally.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Luca's family and loved ones during this difficult time. 

May he rest in eternal peace.
