MIT Course on Taxation 2020/2021 - Module B

Thank you for registering for Module B of the MIT Course on Taxation 2020/2021.

Kindly be advised that, in light of developments concerning COVID-19, Module B of the MIT Course on Taxation 2020/2021 will be held online.

Notwithstanding the original scheduling of the Course as an in-person course, until such time as the COVID-19 situation stabilises, the lectures will be delivered using Zoom.

Procedure:

  • Enrolled students will receive an invitation by email with a link to join the lecture. They will be required to register prior to joining the lecture.
  • You will be sent a copy of the lecture notes prior to the lecture and the lecturer will also display the powerpoint on screen during the online lecture.
  • Students are kindly requested to keep their microphone on mute for the duration of the lecture, unless they would like to ask/reply to a question.
  • Students are encouraged to ask questions to the lecturer during the session, whether by chat/Q&A or by making use of the “Raise Hand” icon, so as to make each session as interactive as possible. The lecturer may communicate to the students their preferred format of receiving questions.

These are undoubtedly uncertain times for all, and this interim solution will allow the course to commence in the current circumstances. The format of the subsequent modules will be announced closer to the start date of each module, once we have further information about the development of the situation locally, and giving priority to the health of the students and the lecturers.

We gently ask you to confirm receipt of this communication since the email address used for this communication will be the email address used to communicate electronically with you throughout the module. Please inform us as soon as possible should you change your email address or any other personal details shared in your application to this course to update our records accordingly.

You should shortly receive the link to access the lecture this evening.

We thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Should you have any questions about the above please do not hesitate to contact the MIT Office on info@maintax.org.
