A walk-through the VAT in the digital age proposals

Join us on 1 March 2023 for an overview of the recently proposed changes to the VAT rules which are designed to modernise VAT reporting obligations, to facilitate e-invoicing, address practical issues concerning the platform economy in certain sectors and move towards a single VAT registration in the EU. During this session, the speakers will walk participants through each of the changes being proposed, explaining what is expected to change and how.

The MIT VAT Practitioners’ Forum will bring together professionals who work in the field of VAT to discuss select topical VAT issues from a technical and practical perspective. The event will feature two panel discussions with panellists from the MIT's Indirect Tax Committee and other guest panellists, including from the Office of the CfR. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A. This event is of particular interest for persons who advise on VAT matters and/or handle or assist with VAT reporting and compliance matters.
