A 2-part workshop the purpose of which is to assist attendees with the completion of corporate income tax returns and to address various issues and difficulties which may arise when completing the returns. During the seminar, practical scenarios will be presented to demonstrate, inter alia, how different sources of income are reportable in the income tax return and how different corporate vehicles treated as companies could impact such reporting. The basis of taxation applicable to companies will also be considered.
The session will be based on the return for YA2021 (if available)
This will be a practical workshop such that, based on the practical scenarios provided, attendees will be completing income tax returns.

Louise Grima is a manager at KPMG Malta. She joined KPMG in 2015 after graduating with a Master in Accountancy from the University of Malta and has since worked on income tax compliance clients established in a number of fields including gaming, banking and funds. Louise was awarded the 2015 MIA Best Student of the Year prize for Master in Accountancy Group 2013/2015, holds a Diploma in VAT compliance and has successfully completed the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation with an overall distinction. Louise regularly delivers tax lectures and is a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta.
