VAT Changes 2020 – the “quick fixes”

On 1 January 2020, the new rules for EU cross-border supplies of goods will enter into force. This amendment to the VAT Directive is also known as “the quick fixes”, and is intended to be a first step towards the definitive EU VAT regime.

The “quick fixes” refer to harmonised rules on:

  1. cross-border call-off arrangements
  2. cross-border chain transactions
  3. applying the zero-rate to EU intra-EC supplies of goods

This seminar will review the VAT 2020 changes and will examine their application in practice.
