MIT Tax Courses 2020/2021

The MIT is taking bookings for the 2020/2021 MIT Course on Taxation (MQF Level 6) and MIT Course on Tax Compliance (MQF Level 5) - starting October 2020.

 
 

MIT Course on Taxation

The MIT Course on Taxation (leading to a Professional Award in Taxation - MQF Level 6), is an intensive, postgraduate specialisation course in 5 modules:
  1. Fundamentals of Maltese Income Tax Law
  2. Advanced Maltese Income Tax Law and Stamp Duty
  3. International Tax Law and Customs Duties
  4. EU Acquis impact on Maltese Tax Law
  5. VAT

This course is designed to provide a deeper insight into Malta’s system of taxation, both in a domestic as well as a cross-border context, and provides an excellent foundation for persons pursuing a career in tax.

Duration: October 2020 - May 2021 (Applicants have the option to complete the course over 2 or more academic years, up to 5 academic years).

 
 

MIT Course on Tax Compliance

The MIT Course on Tax Compliance (MQF Level 5) provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of income tax, stamp duty and VAT and their application in practice (including documentary and filing obligations), relevant for tax advisors, accounts clerks and finance teams. This course is ideal for persons wishing to pursue, or already pursuing, a career in tax compliance.

Get Qualified

MIT Courses are accredited by the National Commission for Further and Higher Education (NCFHE) and are eligible for the Get Qualified Scheme, enabling recovery of part of the costs incurred.
