Starting 5 October 2021, this course, which is comprised of 10 lectures, will provide a comprehensive overview of the basic principles of Maltese Income Tax Law, including basis of taxation, deductions & exemptions & taxation of individuals. This course is the first module of the MIT Course on Taxation and can be followed on a standalone basis or as part of the full course.

Starting 7 October 2021, this course, which is comprised of 5 lectures, will address key non-tax issues which are essential for tax compliance practitioners: accounts for non-accountants; introduction to company law; and Prevention of Money Laundering legislation. This course is the first module of the MIT Course on Tax Compliance and can be followed on a standalone basis or as part of the full course.

Starting 11 November 2021, this course, which is comprised of 16 lectures, will provide a comprehensive overview of the basic principles of Maltese Income Tax and stamp duty legislation, including: taxation of employment income, the FSS, the tax payment and refund system and investment tax credits. This course is the second module of the MIT Course on Tax Compliance and can be followed on a standalone basis or as part of the full course.

Starting 18 November 2021, this course, which is comprised of 10 lectures, will provide a comprehensive overview of advanced aspects of Maltese Income Tax Law, including the tax accounting system, double taxation relief under the Income Tax Act, taxation of dividend distributions, capital gains tax and duty on documents and transfers. This course is the second module of the MIT Course on Taxation and can be followed on a standalone basis or as part of the full course.
