The TRA Series 2023 is comprised of 4 webinars each of which will focus on the completion of select Tax Return Attachments

Session 1: 10 May 2023 (14.00 – 16.00) – Incentive schemes administered by Malta Enterprise and the reporting requirements
Session 2: 19 June 2023 (14.00 – 16.00) – Deductions and Exemptions
Session 3: 27 July 2023 (14.00 – 16.00) – Allowances, capital gains and losses
Session 4: 30 August 2023 (14.00 – 16.00) – International / cross border ATAD, ATAD II, DAC6

Maria Demanuele

With over 12 years of experience, Maria has broad knowledge and experience on corporate taxation and she assists a large portfolio of Maltese and international clients from a variety of industries, with their tax affairs in Malta, particularly the manufacturing sector.
Maria is able to offer a wide range of services including corporate tax consulting and personal taxation and can bring relevant and practical experience into her work. Maria is specialized on tax incentives matters and has assisted clients from various industries in availing of aid on their investment projects.

Christian Vella

Chris is currently a senior tax manager at Deloitte Malta. He currently forms part of the tax mergers and acquisitions department within the firm’s tax practice. Chris mainly focuses on engagements primarily relating to shareholder restructuring exercises, succession planning engagements, mergers and acquisitions as well as general tax advisory services.

Nicola Attard

Nicola is a supervisor at Deloitte Malta, forming part of the mergers and acquisitions department within the firm’s tax practice. She currently focuses on tax advisory engagements, primarily relating to succession planning, operational restructuring exercises as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Janica Aquilina

Janica Aquilina is an Assistant Manager within EY Malta’s Business Tax Compliance department. Janica is a CPA by profession and joined EY Malta on a full time basis in 2015 after graduating with a Master in Accountancy from the University of Malta. The client base which Janica has worked on is usually local and international companies in a number of diverse industries such as the manufacturing industry, the banking industry and the hospitality industry. In 2018 Janica has successfully obtained a distinction in the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation at the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Janica is also a part-time lecturer for the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation, and she has also delivered a number of training programmes and seminars.

Thomas Zammit

Thomas is a senior manager at KPMG Malta. He completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy and Public Policy and a Master in Accountancy at the University of Malta, followed by an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Thomas specializes in corporate income tax whereby he assists local and international clients from various industries both from an advisory and a compliance perspective.
