As a member of the Personal Tax team, you are responsible for proactively assisting clients in their day-to-day client requests, supporting individuals as they relocate locally, assisting managers in the drafting of tax advisory requests, conduct research within the team on relevant tax topics and developments as well as assisting in tax compliance formalities within the team.

The ideal candidate should be part-qualified as an accountant or lawyer, have basic knowledge of Maltese income tax, be willing to specialize in direct taxation, possess excellent planning and organizational skills, work independently, have strong English language skills, be analytical with problem-solving abilities, collaborate with other departments, and be a team player.

Responsibilities include preparing income tax returns and computations for both corporate entities and individuals, handling income tax refund claim forms, shareholder registration, and dividend warrants, assisting clients with provisional tax payments and social security contributions, preparing DAC 6 reports, and liaising with tax authorities on compliance matters. The ideal candidate should be in the final stages of obtaining an ACCA qualification or equivalent in accountancy, have a good understanding of the Maltese Income Tax System, possess strong planning and organizational skills, work independently, have excellent English language proficiency, be analytical with problem-solving abilities, and be willing to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
