Our team advises multinationals and domestic entities on direct taxation matters, incentive legislation matters, international tax developments and corporate restructuring including re-organisation of family businesses.
The Role
As a Senior Tax Professional in the Tax team, you will be responsible for providing income tax compliance and advisory services to our clients in Malta. In this managerial role, you will be expected to assist the team with complex engagements, ensuring clients are provided with efficient, professional, and excellent service whilst assisting other managers in overseeing key operations of the team.

We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our Direct Tax team.

- Leading tax-planning and implementation strategies to optimize clients’ tax liability
- Providing advice on tax considerations in various processes of corporate restructuring and financing, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investments, and other types of transactions
- Assisting international and local clients with ad-hoc tax advisory engagements
- Assisting in tax compliance and execution, including preparation of corporate tax returns and tax refund applications
- Assisting in tax audits and liaising with tax authorities
- Delivering technical training and providing technical support to the accounting and audit teams
- Keeping abreast with direct tax developments locally and internationally
- Identifying opportunities for the unit’s growth
- Re-assessing and proposing improvements to systems and processes as and when required
- Assisting junior team members as their primary point of contact and review work where appropriate
