Tax Research Conference – Current Trends in the Taxation of Individuals
A conference organised by the MTCA’s Tax Research Unit in collaboration with the Malta Institute of Taxation.
This half-day Tax Research Conference, which will explore some of the key issues shaping the taxation of individuals today, is being organised by the Malta Tax & Customs Administration’s Tax Research Unit in collaboration with the Malta Institute of Taxation. Discussions will include key Malta payroll tax issues, the tax considerations facing internationally mobile individuals, and the evolving debate around wealth taxation including its merits and implications from a broader tax policy perspective.
We invite you to join us for a morning of insights and discussion with representatives from the MTCA and the MIT, as well as guest speaker, Prof. Arun Advani from the University of Warwick. The event will be followed by light refreshments and an opportunity to network with industry peers.
Registration for the event is on a complimentary basis.
Bookings are on a first-come-first served basis. Priority will be given to Members of the Malta Institute of Taxation who book their place before 7 October 2026.
