Ecofin has issued a draft report which provides an overview of the progress achieved in the Council during the Croatian Presidency, as well as of the state of play of the most important dossiers under negotiations in the area of taxation, including:

• CCTB
• the ‘digital taxation’ package
• the Definitive VAT system
• the VAT rates reform proposal

The report also references the Commission’s recent proposal to extend the filing deadlines under DAC. According to the Report it is expected that the draft Directive will be adopted by the Council before 1 July 2020.
