EU Commission Consultation on VAT and the Circular Economy

The European Commission has launched a consultation on how VAT rules can be adapted to better support circular business models. The focus is on three key areas: the treatment of second-hand goods, donation vs destruction of viable goods, and the VAT deduction rules for passenger cars used for business purposes.
