MIT Graduation Ceremony 2026

The Malta Institute of Taxation hosted a Graduation Ceremony for graduates of the Award in Taxation 2025/2026 (MQF 6), the Award in Tax Compliance 2025/2026 (MQF 5) ant the Award in VAT Compliance (MQF 5), at The Link Hall, on Monday, 19 October 2026.

The event was opened by the Institute’s Chairperson of the Education Committee, Dr Timothy Borg Olivier, who addressed the graduates and guests. Dr Sarah Cassar Torregiani, Chief Technical Officer of the Institute, invited the ‘First in Class’ for each course to address their fellow graduates. Ms Christabelle Agius who achieved the highest mark overall in the Award in Taxation 2025/2026; Mr Gordon Harvey, who achieved the highest mark overall in the Award in Tax Compliance 2025/2026 and Ms Makhabbat Ellul who achieved the highest mark overall in the Award in VAT Compliance 2026. Following the student speeches, Chair of Education handed out of the graduation certificates to the graduates present.

Following the Graduation Ceremony, the MIT hosted a small reception at the Link Hall.

Congratulations to all those who successfully completed the Award in Taxation 2025/2026, the Award in Tax Compliance 2025/2026 and the Award in VAT Compliance 2026.
