2019 Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Malta Institute of Taxation was held on Wednesday 4 December 2019 at the Malta Stock Exchange.
The President of the Institute, Dr Conrad Cassar Torregiani, opened the meeting and presented a brief overview of the activities during 2019.
The main item on the agenda was the proposed amendments to the MIT Code of Conduct and Ethics, which are intended to enhance the already existing recommendations for good practice and to provide clarity around certain areas of potential ambiguity.
The election for MIT Council was held in accordance with the statute of the MIT. The following members were elected/re-elected to Council:
