MIT AGM 2022

The Malta Institute of Taxation held its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 23 June 2022. The AGM was opened by the President of the MIT, Dr Conrad Cassar Torregiani, who reported on some of the key initiatives undertaken and/or participated in by the MIT in 2021-2022 and gave an insight into the vision and initiatives for 2022-2023.

During the event, Council Members, Committee Chairpersons and Management reported on the 2021-2022 activities of the Institute, including, the technical initiatives and publications, educational activities and developments from an administrative perspective. The Treasurer of the Institute, Mr Christian Vella, presented an overview of the Institute’s Financial Report.

A motion to amend the Statute of the MIT was put forward and was approved unanimously by the Members present.

The AGM saw the election of two new Council members: Dr Trudy Muscat and Dr Sarah Casolani.
