MIT Graduation Ceremony 2022
The Malta Institute of Taxation hosted a Graduation Ceremony for graduates of the MIT Course on Taxation 2021/2022 (MQF 6) and the MIT Course on Tax Compliance 2021/2022 (MQF 5), at The Sheer Bastion, Senglea, on Wednesday 14th September 2022.
The event was opened by the Institute’s outgoing Education Committee Chairperson, Dr Rachel Zarb Cousin, who addressed the graduates and guests, and thanked the event sponsors: Citadel Insurance and Expedition42. Dr Zarb Cousin invited the ‘First in Class’ for each course to address their fellow graduates. Ms Dorothea Cassar obtained the highest mark overall in the MIT Course on Taxation 2021/2022 and Mr James Aquilina obtained the highest mark overall in the MIT Course on Tax Compliance 2021/2022. In recognition of their achievement, Ms Cassar and Mr Aquilina were also awarded a token from the event’s main sponsor, Citadel Insurance. Following the handing out of the graduation certificates to the graduates present, the ceremony was closed by the Institute’s new Education Committee Chairperson, Dr Trudy Muscat.

Following the Graduation Ceremony, the MIT hosted a networking dinner at the Sheer Bastion which was attended by MIT members and non-members, graduates and other guests of the Institute.
Congratulations to all those who successfully completed the MIT Course on Taxation 2021/2022 and the MIT Course on Tax Compliance 2021/2022.
